Some lots are public, while others can be rented or fully owned with enough money.
As time has gone on, EA-made and EA-curated have begun to blur. Several lots with the Maxis username were first designed by Sims content creators like Lilsimsie, who made an official lot forTS4: Growing Together. In some cases, these lots also havepre-made families you can schmooze your way into. All of this is an agreement by EA to let diehardThe Simsplayers get early access to game betas,but allow the creations to be part of the Maxis brand. Pectoral Fitness is a 30x30 lot within the downtown area of Starlight Boulevard. On the first floor, the changing rooms and large pool are quickly accessible. The first thing to notice is The Muckery is two separate buildings separated by a walkway and stairs. The entrance houses two makeshift restrooms, complete with storage boxes and heavy machinery. The second building holds the bar and dance floor. During the night hours, a DJ will play music. Upstairs is the private area for casual conversations or using the closet item to change outfits.

TS4: Snowy Escapehas two rental properties to allow easier access to skiing and snowboarding. There is a dining hall, lush welcoming foyer, and a piano to lighten the mood. Upstairs, the betrothed can change in their private quarters.
While the lot itself is great,TS4: My Wedding Storiescan get pretty buggy. Guests are often hard to corral into place, with them often missing the ceremony entirely. There are also some compatibility issues withTS4: Love Struck, where certain romantic boundaries interrupt the older items from the previous love-themed pack.

The main floor has a large dining room, a kitchen, and a huge yard, including monkey bars and a gardening area. The second floor has bedrooms for both the young Jace and the elderly Arnessa. The third floor has rooms for Hector, Hilary, and Greta. These include massive TVs, a small reading nook, and painting supplies.
