2.uBlacklist(Chrome, Firefox, Safari): Hide Unwanted Sites from Search Results

Google remembers the sites you have visited in the past and ranks them higher in future searches. But this can backfire with websites that you used to like but now want to avoid, like news organizations that no longer align with your political stance. uBlacklist is a nifty extension to block certain websites from showing up in your Google search results.

You can add a simple list of sites to the extension’s options page, and you can also import or export this list. There’s a particular formatting to add the sites, but it’s quite easy. An alternative way is to search for something on Google, and you’ll see an option saying “Block this site” next to each search result. Click that button to remove that site from any future results.

uBlacklist lets you hide or block certain websites from showing up in Google search results

The search results show how many sites have been blocked or hidden and give you the option to show them. Apart from Google, uBlacklist also supports Bing, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Qwant, Searx, Startpage.com, Yahoo! JAPAN, and Yandex.

Suggesty gives you a quick ChatGPT response along with your Google search results

3.Suggesty(Chrome): Get ChatGPT Results Along With Google Search Results

Everyone knows how powerful ChatGPT is and the number of cool things you can do with it. However, ChatGPT doesn’t search the internet when you query it. Suggesty marries the search prowess of Google with the smart AI of GPT-3 to give you an AI-generated response with every search query.

Suggesty doesn’t reveal your identity when sending the query to GPT-3, keeping your request anonymous. The result is displayed at the top of the search results page, and you’ll often have to wait for a few seconds after your search results have appeared for Suggesty’s response to show up.

Search Everywhere with Google Bard is Google’s official extension to get AI-generated responses from Google Bard and ChatGPT, and chat with the AI

The extension is excellent for things like translating sentences or paragraphs into different languages, looking up recipes and instructions, or grammar correction. Do note that you will only be getting a result and not be able to query that result further like you usually can with ChatGPT. For that, you can try an extension likeChatGPT Everywhere to access ChatGPT anywhere.

4.Search Everywhere With Google Bard(Chrome): AI Response With Search Results

Google’s AI competitor to ChatGPT is called Bard, and Google is quick to say that it’s not a search engine. But knowing that people want to use search results and AI results alongside each other, the company has also launched an official extension for that. Once you have installed Search Everywhere With Google Bard, your search query will also search for the same thing in Google Bard and display results alongside.

In the search results page, you’ll find a dialog box to chat with Google Bard next to the list of your links. This appears above the usual Knowledge Graph preview that many search results come with. You’ll need to log in to Google Bard the first time you use the app with your usual Google account.

Surprisingly, Search Everywhere With Google Bard also lets you access ChatGPT. You can switch between Bard and ChatGPT with a simple click as long as you have logged in to your ChatGPT account. The dialog box also has a night mode if you want it to stand out.

5.Web Search Navigator(Chrome, Firefox, Edge): Keyboard Shortcuts for Search Results

Power users know how much faster you can get things done if you know keyboard shortcuts rather than reaching for the mouse or trackpad each time. Web Search Navigator adds keyboard shortcuts to the Google search results page, so you can browse through the links using only your keyboard.

You can scroll up and down between links, open them in a background or foreground tab, navigate to other sections such as Maps or Images, go to the next or previous page, and filter results by time or relevance. You can also navigate between Google’s search results cards, such as Top Stories or embedded tweets.

The full list of default keyboard shortcuts is available on the main website. In the extension’s options, you can customize any keyboard shortcut as well. Apart from Google, Web Search Navigator also works with a few other sites such as YouTube and Amazon.
