When Is WWDC 2024, and Who Can Attend It?
In anApple Newsroom post, the company revealed that it will hold its annual WWDC event from June 10 to June 14 in 2024. The main keynote event will take place on June 10, followed by an in-person experience for developers to meet with Apple’s team and take part in special activities.

When and How to Watch WWDC 2024 Online
If you’re like most of us, you would want to watch Apple’s WWDC event from the comfort of your home. While Apple hasn’t shared any official details yet, you should be able to watch the WWDC keynote live onApple’s YouTube channelon June 10 at 10am PT if previous years are any indicator.
You should also be able to watch the keynote event onApple’s websiteor via theApple TV appif you need more options.
What We Expect at Apple’s WWDC 2024 Event
Apple’s WWDC has historically been a software-focused event with surprise hardware announcements now and then. For instance,Apple announced several products at WWDC 2023, includingthe Vision Pro headset we reviewedin February 2024.
Most of the time, though, Apple’s WWDC keynote focuses on the next major iterations of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. With Vision Pro now available, you can also expect the next iteration of visionOS at this event. After all, Apple stated the following in its blog post:
WWDC24 will spotlight the latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS advancements.
What’s more interesting to me is how Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing announced the event on X (formerly Twitter). I was quick to notice how he capitalized the words “Absolutely Incredible.”
Does this meanAI (artificial intelligence)would be a major focus at this event? I’d like to hope so, but only time will tell.
Either way, there are so many reasons to be excited about WWDC 2024. If you’re an iPhone user, you can get a glimpse of what iOS 18 has to offer. Or if you own a Mac, you can look forward to seeing what’s next for macOS. And who knows? Apple might even surprise us with new hardware. So, stay tuned!
