As a director himself, I wouldn’t be surprised if Safdie, as he probably did duringOppenheimer, took the chance to take first-hand notes from Nolan, further elevating his craft. Safdie’s role inThe Odysseywill probably be veiled in shadow until months before the film’s release, but I’m excited not only to see who he plays, but how this collaboration will affect his creative process.
