The differences start with downloadable content. With the Basic tier, you cannot download content and watch it later. On the other hand, with the Premium service, you candownload Disney+ movies and shows for offline viewingon up to ten devices. For example, you could download Tangled to your child’s smartphone, and they could watch it while you’re traveling on an airplane and their device is in airplane mode.
Disney+ Basic does not include access to GroupWatch either. With GroupWatch on the Premium subscription, you can participate in remote watch parties. You can sync a movie’s timing and watch it simultaneously with friends and family members in different locations.
