Will Elite Provide A Satisfying Conclusion To The Series?
The Series Has Struggled To Live Up To Its Early Seasons
Elite’s first three seasons were its best, focusing on one overarching murder mystery and the fallout that ensued from it. Season 3 arguably provided a natural stopping point for the series asElite’s original killerwas finally brought to justice and the majority of the characters graduated from Las Encinas. The original seasons were also interested in exploring socioeconomic divides and the dangers of unchecked privilege, which fueled much of the best drama and character dynamics.
15 Best Shows Like Netflix’s Elite
Those who have enjoyed the Netflix series Elite will be glad to know that there are a number of other, similar series to watch next.
The series has arguably lost sight of this initial approach in many of the seasons that followed, while almost all the original cast exited the story, and the new characters struggled to be as compelling. It is promising that the season 8 trailer heavily features Omar in his mission tobring justice to Joel’s death. Omar was in the series from the beginning and has been in more seasons than any other character, with a prominent role in the final season helping to bring closure to his arc and the overarching series.

If the trailer is any indication,Nadia may not be as present in season 4 as her brother, but her return is still a welcome addition. As one ofElite’s best characters, she was integral to providing much of the heart and rich thematic exploration of the earlier seasons, elements she can hopefully bring to season 8 as well. If the plot can also be as intriguing as the earlier seasons, hopefully, all these elements will be enough to bringEliteto a satisfying conclusion.
