New Frozen 3 Release Date Revealed After Announced Delay

Frozen 3has been on the docket at Disney for quite some time and now the studio has shared new information about the film out ofD23. The first piece of concept art showsAnna, Elsa, and Olaf riding horses toward a shimmering, floating cityin the distance, yellow glow radiating from its towers. However, a dark shadow is sneaking up from behind, teasing a new villain with a horned helmet and spear. The second image sees the sisters on an ice pond, what appear to be cracks in the shape of snowflakes all across it.

In addition to the concept art hinting at what to expect from the third installment, it was also revealedthe story involved will lead into thepreviously confirmedFrozen 4.This means the ideas presented in the concept art might not just be for this newest movie, but also for the installment coming after as well. Since not much has been revealed about the new movies just yet, it seems the concept art will be the only clues for now about what to anticipate.
SinceFrozen 2endedwith Elsa becoming the protector of the Enchanted Forest,her job going forward will be to ensure her new home is protected at all costs.With the glowing city appearing over the woods, it’s safe to assume it showed up within the relatively new location. Because of this, it’s unclear if the new locale is going to pose a threat, or if it will be benevolent. Perhaps it’s even a representation of the connection Anna and Elsa’s worlds share with one another, further exploring the concept of that collaboration.
Frozen 3 Now Has A Lot Of Pressure After Disney’s Franchise Lost The Crown It Held For 5 Years
After Inside Out 2 recently dethroned Frozen 2 as the highest-grossing animated movie ever made, Frozen 3 looks to make a big splash in 2026.
Although the exact details of the story remain under wraps, it’s clear thatFrozen 3is going to introduce new concepts that once again shake the foundation of the story being told.
