At the time of his casting, it’s unclear what role Firth’s character will play in theYoung SherlockTV show. Sir Bucephalus Hodge never appears nor is mentioned in Doyle’s stories or Lane’s books. Firth, an esteemed English actor who won an Oscar forThe King’s Speech, seems like the perfect choice to play Sir Bucephalus Hodge.
