How to Add an AirPrint-Enabled Printer to an iPhone or iPad

AirPrint is a feature on most Apple devices that makes it easy to print to supported printers. Many printers today support AirPrint, but it’s worthchecking if your printer is AirPrint-enabled.

Then, to add an AirPrint printer to your iPhone or iPad, all you need to do is open the document or picture you want to print and tap theShareicon at the bottom-left corner of your screen.

Then, scroll down in the iOS Share Sheet and tap onPrint. Now, tap onPrinterto view a list of AirPrint-enabled printers. Just choose a printer, and you’ll be able to print immediately.

Your iPhone or iPad will recognize AirPrint-enabled printers automatically. However, your printer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad for this to work.

How to Add an Unsupported Printer to Your iPhone or iPad

If your printer doesn’t support AirPrint, you won’t be able to add it directly to your iPhone or iPad at the moment.
