How to Use Canva to Create a Sticker
Technically, there are two ways you can create a sticker on Canva. You can start with a template and build your sticker from there. Another way is to start from scratch and create your own design.
Build on a Template
On Canva’s homepage, go toDesign Spotlight > Marketing > Stickers.
To start from a template, you can click on theBrowse Templatesbutton. However, if you scroll down a little bit, you’ll see the option to start your design process with a sticker shape. If you select a shape you like, a bunch of templates will appear on the next screen, and you can browse from there.
If you scroll down theStickerspage a bit more, it’s possible to see some already created stickers for different surfaces and themes that you can build off from.
Keep in mind that any template that has a crown icon on it is only available through the Canva Pro subscription. If you see one that you like, you may always sign up for a 30-day free trial to use it.
Once you choose a template you like, Canva’s design page will open for you to start making any changes to your sticker.
If you click on an already created sticker, you’ll end up with a popup to buy the sticker as is. Just select theCustomize This Templatebutton, and Canva will direct you to the designing page.
Create Your Sticker From Scratch

After that, you’ll have options to choose from in size and finish. Different shapes will have more or less options in size. Circle stickers have a small, medium, and large sizes—whereas rectangle stickers only come in small and large. The paper finish comes in Matte Finish and Gloss Finish.
Then choose how many stickers you want. It is important to note that Canva’s stickers come in sheets, so you’ll have to choose your number of stickers based on how many come on one sheet.
Next, you’ll check out with your payment information, put in your address, and wait for your stickers to arrive.
