Summary
The Bacheloretteseason 21 may have only just begun, but I’m certain thatSam McKinney is the season’s villain after his performance in the first episodesof the season. After impressingBachelorNation duringThe Bachelorseason 28with Joey Graziadei, Jenn Tran was chosen to become the first Asian AmericanBachelorettein franchise history. Though her time with Joey wasn’t successful in creating a lasting match, Jenn’s on her journey asThe Bachelorette, hopeful she’ll be able to find her own love story. After the first few episodes of her season, it’s clear Jenn means business about finding love.
Throughout her first few episodes asThe Bachelorette,Jenn has been determined to be serious about her journey to find love while still being the fun, bubbly womanBachelorNation fell in love with. While that’s a tall order, the men of Jenn’s season have helped help her strike a balance between serious and silly in the first few episodes. Regardless, Jenn’s relationship with Sam has become a difficulty for some viewers to watch, as it appears he’s going to beThe Bacheloretteseason 21’s villain.I’m certain Sam is the villain of the season after his earlyBacheloretteperformance.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Sam Is Too Good To Be True
Although thus far in the competition, Sam has proven to be sweet and sultry, he’s simply too good to be true in the way he’s acting toward Jenn onThe Bachelorette.Jenn’s decision to give Sam the first impression rose duringThe Bacheloretteseason 21 premierewas controversial, but his charm and appeal were unmatched during the first moments in the newBachelorettemansion. Sam memorably introduced himself, charmed Jenn, and found time to talk to her once the introductions had ended. Although Jenn may have been excited,Sam’s stories about his life back home have felt a little contrived.
While he’s talked about his life minimally, Sam’s attitude has felt a lot like he’s trying to take control of his side of the story. Unfortunately for Sam, his fate rests in Jenn’s hands. While Sam has been someone who’s caught Jenn’s eye because of his good looks and charm, he feels sinister in some moments, and rehearsed in others. DuringThe Bacheloretteseason 21’s premiere whenSam was given the first impression rose, he was grateful, butdidn’t seem surprised that Jenn was choosing him over the other guys. Without knowing Jenn, his lack of surprise was very off-putting.

Sam Is Being Compared To Juan Pablo
While Sam is his own person, he’s been getting compared to formerBachelorJuan Pablo Galavisoften on social media. Sam surprisingly looks a lot like Juan Pablo, but that isn’t something thatBachelorNation is all too happy about. The lead ofThe Bachelorseason 18, Juan Pablo is known as one of the most controversialBachelorsto ever lead the series. Known for his lack of communication skills and inappropriate remarks, Juan Pablo tore downBachelorNation favorite Clare Crawley during his season, and got schooled by futureBacheloretteAndi Dorfman for the way he spoke to her.
I don’t think that the Juan Pablo comparison is necessarily a bad thing for Sam in terms of looks, butcomparing a currentBachelorettecontestant to one of the worstBachelorleads of all time isn’t a rave review. With manyBachelorNation viewers unable to see Sam without being reminded of Juan Pablo, it will continue to be an issue for the current contestant.BachelorNation is hopeful that Sam’s attitude is far better than Juan Pablo’s, but it seems likely we’ll see some villainous behavior from the new contestant, too.

Sam Didn’t Come Off Well In The Episode 2 Trailer
During the trailer forThe Bacheloretteseason 21 episode 2,Sam didn’t come off like the sweet, charming guy thatBachelorNation had seen earlierin the first episode. While he wasn’t featured heavily, Sam had a very different air about him after getting the first impression rose. Though he was more confident than cocky, Sam and Jenn have had so little interaction that seeing him acting somewhat arrogant was surprising and off-putting. He didn’t come off well in the trailer, makingthe otherBachelorettecast membersseem wholly inferior because he got early time with and attention from Jenn.
Sam’s Cast Members Don’t Seem To Like Him
Though some of the cast members ofThe Bacheloretteseason 21 appear to have problems with Devin Strader from the previews for future episodes, it also appears that the cast’s issues with Sam are strong throughout the season. AsThe Bacheloretteseason 21 continues,Sam’s cast appears to have some issues with him due to the amount of attention he’s gotten from Jennand the way he’s been acting with the guys. With only a few appearances from Sam so far, it’s clear to me thatThe Bacheloretteis giving him an edit that could twist him into the villain
