For over a decade, Netflix was my go-to streaming platform, thanks to its extensive library of movies, shows, and original content. However, over the years, it’s become harder and harder to justify Netflix’s ever-increasing prices, especially given that other streaming platforms offer more bang for my buck.
So, if you’re like me and want to switch from Netflix, here are a few alternatives I recommend.

11.Prime Video
22.Apple TV+
When comparingNetflix and Apple TV+,the former wins in terms of variety. However, if you’re looking for good-quality shows, from the likes of Ted Lasso to The Morning Show, Apple TV+ is the platform to consider.
I stumbled upon this platform accidentally after I purchased an Apple device (Apple TV+ is included for free for three months). However, I quickly got used to the streaming service and decided to continue it for $9.99 per month. The fact that I can share the subscription with up to five people makes it even more appealing to me. Keep in mind that you may alsowatch Apple TV+ on Android and non-Apple devices, so don’t ignore this service if you’re not completely integrated into the Apple ecosystem.

If you like watching network TV episodes soon after they air, you can’t really beatHulu. Unlike other platforms that take months or even years to add new seasons of popular shows, Hulu pretty much always offers next-day access to episodes.
Prefer the ad-free version? I sure do, but it costs $17.99 per month. Still, I think it’s worth it, given that I can access new episodes of shows I like without having to wait too long. If you’re interested in Disney content, you can just get the Disney Bundle Duo Basic for $9.99 per month, which will give you access to Disney+ (with ads) and Hulu (with ads). Ad-free versions of this bundle are available as well, but they cost more.

If you’re struggling to figure out which platform to go with, cycle through services by signing up for free trials. This way, you’ll always have plenty of new content and a fair idea of what to expect from each platform, helping you decide which subscriptions are worth continuing with and which ones you can do without.
