Marvel Writer Promises Even More to Come

While celebrating the Hulk’s monumental publication achievement is exciting, even more so is the promise of what’s to come in the hero’s future. The mild-mannered Bruce Bannerwas once a tortured scientist with a violent hidden disposition, but now he has transformed intoan avatar for destruction incarnate. In an interview with Marvel Comics, the series' writer Kennedy Johnson had this to say about what’s next for the Hulk:

“It’s a tremendous honor to write a landmark issue of one of the biggest titles in comics, and we are NOT wasting the opportunity. Fans are finally going to see the throwdown between Hulk and Eldest, Nic Klein’s craziest Hulk transformation to date, an INSANE reveal featuring Hulk’s sidekick Charlie, and a complete status quo reset that will propel us into uncharted territory in 2025 and beyond.”

While not much is yet known about Charlie Tidwell’s fate, and her monstrous new powers Marvel has promised,it can be expected that a beast worse than the Hulk is on the green horizon. If thepreviousHulktitleshave taught readers anything, it’s that disaster follows the Fractured Son just as a storm follows lightning. While the answers to these mysteries won’t appear until much later this year, the Hulkmay soon face the one enemy cosmically designed to oppose his infinite strength.
