WARNING: This article contains SPOILERS for Sweet Home season 3.

Summary

Sweet Homeseason 3 was much better than the second season thanks to the return of Lee Do-hyun’s Eun-hyeok. One of the most successful K-dramas based on a webtoon,Sweet Homewas the first Korean show to enter Netflix’s Global Top 10and quickly secured a two-season renewal. Most of the source material was covered in the first season, with seasons 2 and 3 telling an original story that combined old and new characters.Sweet Home’s castonly got bigger as the show went on, yet it also lost some important characters along the way.

For example,Park Gyu-young’s Ji-su died inSweet Homeseason 2, episode 3, and never showed up again with flashbacks or visions. Another major “death” inSweet Homewas that of Eun-hyeok at the end of season 1. The character chose to stay behind while the Green Home was being attacked, with the episode later revealing that Eun-hyeok was showing symptoms of the monster virus. This led to many theories aboutLee Do-hyun’s Eun-hyeokhaving survived thanks to the monsterization process, which turned out to be correct.
