Nezuko’s Voice Actress Tells All About the Demon Slayer Finale

Abby Trott, Nezuko’s English Voice Actress, Calls the Series' Ending “Bittersweet”

Other than Nezuko Kamado, Abby Trott has voiced Momo Ayase inDandadan,Shizuka Mikazuki inZom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and many other recognizable roles. In the interview, she explained that although she has had the pleasure of lending her voice to countless characters over the years,Nezuko has always been the most popular.AsDemon Slayer’sfinal moments approach, Abby describes her feelings surrounding the finale as “bittersweet,” since she has greatly enjoyed contributing her talents to such a cultural phenomenon, but recognizes even the best anime series of all time must end eventually.

“I’m sad because obviously it’s exciting when the new arcs are coming out and more of the story is being told, but I am also happy that there is an end to the story. I think that sometimes, stories get dragged on too long, longer than they should, and they kind of lose quality. So, I’m hoping, and I’m confident, that the animators can wrap this up in a beautiful way with a beautiful bow, and it’s gonna be one of the best series in my mind. I think it’s run its course in the best way possible, for me. Bittersweet, I would say.” - Abby Trott, CBR
