Cena’s costume now has sleeves, a new helmet, and an inverted logo. White Dragon sports a white and blue version of his suit, teasing a possible return from the dead. As for the mystery character, the DCU could allow for Peacemaker’s brother to now be alive. The costumed character could also be a new player or maybe Peacemaker in a new suit.

James Gunn Could Do It In Two Very Different Ways
Despite dying inPeacemakerseason 1’s ending, Robert Patrick’s White Dragon, Peacemaker’s father, could very well be alive when season 2 rolls around. The reason for that is the multiverse. Gunn has said thatPeacemakerseason 2 will bring back some elements from the show’s first year, but season 1 is not canon to the new DCU. With the set photo showing White Dragon with a white and blue costume next to Peacemaker in a new suit on the mural, he could simply not have died in the DCU.
The same could be said for Peacemaker’s brother, who could be the person behind the mask of the mystery character on the mural.Peacemakerseason 1 explained Christopher Smith’s tragic backstory, with John Cena’s DC character accidentally causing his brother’s death when they were young. The mystery character also wears a red and blue color scheme on his suit and a helmet, just like Peacemaker.
There is also a chance that White Dragon and possibly Chris' brother could come back to haunt him. In 2022,Robert Patrick commented on how White Dragon could appear inPeacemakerseason 2. According to the actor, his character could remain dead but appear to Peacemaker as a “ghost” to haunt him.Peacemakerseason 1’s final scene ended with Cena’s character seeing his dad sit down next to him despite him being dead. That could continue inPeacemakerseason 2, with Cena’s DCU character seeing his dead father and possibly brother throughout the season.
