Pokémonis adding three new books to its popular children’s book series ofPokémonPrimers, this time focusing on Dark, Ice, and Normal types. ThePokémonCompany published the first Primer in 2021, and the series has since grown to 26 books with more on the way. Each title explores a different aspect of thePokémonworld, from letters and shapes to different types of Pokémon.

Three new primers join the book series on thePokémonCenterwebsite, with a focus on Dark Types, Ice Types, and Normal Types. All three books star Pikachu as he embarks on a journey to explore, overcome (child-friendly) obstacles, and make new friends. The books help kids learn to read in English and pronounce different Pokémon’s names and feature interactive elements like flaps that can be lifted to reveal cute surprises. And, although these are “children’s” books, all three new titles are suitable for kids ages 3 through 99, so adults can enjoy them, too.
