Summary
After its surprise cancellation by TNT’s parent company WBD,Snowpiercerseason 4 has finally settled into its new home on AMC. Based on the graphic novel series by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, which became a classic movie from Bong Joon-ho, the sci-fi show follows the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train in a world that has become a frozen wasteland. Class warfare rules the day in the 1001 cars as the characters battle their way to survival, prosperity, and hopefully warmth.
Snowpiercerseason 3 brought protagonist Melanie Cavill(Jennifer Connelly) back from the presumed dead but then saw her betray Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) and upend his hopes of bringing the train to New Eden. The shocking cliffhanger now has the opportunity to lead to a more satisfying conclusion with the show’s return on AMC, allowing fans to witness 10 more episodes before the series finale airs on Sepember 22.

Snowpiercer Season 4 Concludes An Incredible Journey
Screen Rant had the honor ofinterviewing showrunner Paul Zbyszewskiabout the final season ofSnowpiercer, and he shared how incredible the resurrection of the series was.
I’m just incredibly grateful that AMC came along and saved the show. Not just season 4, but they took the whole series, which is great. It deserves to be seen and the seasons prior to season four deserve to be seen. Graeme [Mason] and Aubrey [Nealon] did some terrific work, and I’m just very pleased and very grateful that it all worked out.
The official synopsis ofSnowpiercerseason 4, episode 2 — called “The Sting Of Survival” — is as follows:Milius and his Animal Squad storm the train. Melanie realizes something is wrong and shuts the vault doors to the engine. But when Ben’s life is threatened, Melanie surrenders the engine.
