Stranger Thingshas been a mega success, but season 5 is set to wrap up the main story. There has been talk of several spinoffs moving forward, but little has been revealed about those just yet. The Duffers will seemingly keep busy as executive producers in the years following theStranger Thingsending, not just withSomething Very Bad Is Going To Happen, but with asci-fi series calledThe Boroughs(created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews) and a new adaptation ofDeath Note(to be written by Halia Abdel-Meguid).
