Suitsseason 9’s finalewas a great conclusion to the series, giving each character a satisfying ending. That said, the episode focused a lot on Harvey Specter, which makes sense given that Mike had already gotten his “finale” at the end of season 7. Harvey’s life changes drastically in the final episode ofSuits, namely because of his marriage with Donna and his new career. HavingSuitscameos inSuits: L.A.is something reasonable to expect, but bringing Harvey into the spinoff will not be easy.

Harvey Specter Is No Longer A Corporate Lawyer By The End Of Suits
Harvey is now helping the little guy.
Suitsseason 9 ends with Harvey Specter and Donna Paulsen deciding shortly after their marriage that they want to leave New York. While the firm had been their family for years, bothHarvey and Donna wanted to start something new. They reveal to Louis that they will move to Seattle to work on Mike and Rachel’s legal clinic. Harvey’s decision to leave the firm also had to do with his deal with Faye, who threatened to keep coming for him and his friends despite their latest maneuver against her.Suits’ firm changed the name again, this time without Specter.
Part of the reason why Harvey left the firm was that he could focus on helping the “little guy” alongside Mike and Rachel instead of high-profile clients.

In other words, Harvey Specter is no longer a corporate lawyer by the end ofSuits. Having worked at Pearson for most of his professional life, it is interesting to imagine what Harvey’s career will look like now. Still, considering thatSuits: L.A.will take place in an entertainment law firm in Los Angeles, it might not be easy for the spinoff show to ever feature Harvey Specter as a cameo. Part of the reason why Harvey left the firm was that he could focus on helping the “little guy” alongside Mike and Rachel instead of high-profile clients.
Why It Would Be Difficult For Harvey Or Mike To Appear In Suits: L.A.
What would bring Harvey or Mike to LA?
Once the best closer in New York, Harvey Specter decided to change his life and work for Mike Ross in his legal clinic.Suits’ finale even features a nostalgic scene in which Mike interviewed Harvey for the job, a callback to when they first met in the pilot. Harvey learned a lot from Mike and wants to do something different in his life. After years of helping the rich get richer,Harvey realized he could make a difference in the “B league”despite having wanted to live life at its maximum for so long.
Suits Season 9 Called Out Harvey & Mike For Something We All Chose To Ignore For Too Long
Suits’ final season called out Harvey Specter and Mike Ross after we, the viewers, chose to ignore their peculiar way of doing things for too long.
It is difficult to imagine what type of case would bring a lawyer from Seattle who focuses on taking pro-bono cases from people who do not have the resources to pay for their defenses to an entertainment law firm from L.A. This applies to both Harvey and Mike, which is why it might be tricky forSuits’ new spinoff to have cameos from the original show’s biggest characters. Any kind of scenario can be written to justify a potential crossover, yethaving Mike or Harvey casually get tangled into aSuits: L.A.storyline could come off as cheap and too convenient.

Suits: L.A. Has Plenty Of Other Options For Cameos
Suits has a lot of great characters who could return.
While organically writingHarvey Specter and Mike RossintoSuits: L.A.may be difficult, there are plenty of other characters in theSuitsuniverse who could appear in the spinoff more easily. This is particularly true for the partners at Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett, assuming that they are all still working there and the firm has not changed its name once more. It is much more reasonable to expect a high-profile lawyer from a major firm that deals with corporate lawsuits to show up in a series set in an entertainment law firm.
Suits: L.A.’s pilot was filmed in Vancouver.
It would be fun to find out what happened to Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett after the credits rolled. While all the partners were on good terms with each other, all seasons ofSuitsproved that big problems can appear out of nowhere. For example, it would be interesting to see what Louis’ management style looks like when Harvey is not involved. That said, as cool as it would be to haveSuitscameos inSuits: L.A., the new series must stand on its own and cannot rely on appearances from beloved characters.
