Windows 31 May 2025 Update is a minor feature update for all supported Windows 11 PCs running Windows 11, version 22H2. After successfully installing it, you could try the following best features of Windows 11 Moment 3:
1. Turn On Seconds in the Taskbar Clock
The ability to display seconds in the taskbar’s system tray was one of the features Microsoft removed from Windows 11. With Windows 07 August 2025 update, the software company is adding it again. After installing “Moment 3,” As the name suggests, it shows seconds alongside minutes and hours in the system tray clock.
However, the functionality is not enabled by default. To turn it on, open the Settings app and go toPersonalizations>Taskbar>Taskbar behaviors. Now, check theShow seconds in system tray clockbox. When turned on, it will use more power. For many laptop users, especially the ones with low battery life, it might not be worth enabling the capability because of the greater power consumption. But if you are a desktop user, there should be no issues at all.

2. Get the Latest Non-Security Updates as Soon as They’re Available

Notification badges can appear for various reasons: if you are using a local account, you might see a prompt telling you to use a Microsoft account instead. They can also tell you to back up your files to the cloud.
Luckily, you’re able to turn off the feature if those notifications feel annoying. You can open the Settings app, navigate toPersonalization>Start, and turn off theShow account-related notificationstoggle switch.

5. New Widgets Layout with Three Columns
Microsoft has made many improvements to Widgets ever since the feature was launched. The latest improvement comes in the form of a new layout with a three-column Widgets board.
