There are a few different builds that utilize Viessa’s skills quite well, but this one in particular was suggested byYouTuber MxgicIQ. This build is focused onemphasizing her defense and her skill output. Viessa’s skills are her strength, and she is capable of spamming them to a ridiculous degree. Her weapons do matter, but that is a secondary concern topriming her skill damage.

Spear and Shield increases her defense to increase her survivability.

The reactor you will want to use is going to be theFrozen Mechanics Reactor. You will want one that is optimized for your primary weapon, but otherwise, you are looking for a Skill Power of 160% with a Chill and Tech Skill Power Boost. Ideally, you also want to find one withAdditional Skill ATK when Attacking Colossus along with a Skill Critical Hit Rate. This just emphasizes and makes your skills hit for even more damage.
While the previously mentioned MxgicIQ recommends theSlayer Set for External Components,YouTuber Moxsy, among others, recommends the Polar Night set. The main difference between the two is that thePolar Night set increases your Chill Skill Power at 6.2%with other increases if you have the full set, but the Slayer Set, when complete, gives you a 26.1% boost to Skill Power. It is up to you which appeals more, but either way, your skills will get another massive boost.

There are a lot of possible weapon choices for Viessa, but the one most recommended tends to beClairvoyance. Neither YouTuber uses the weapon in their builds, but if you get it you will want to look for the following stats when rolling:
Loading it out with any Modules that increase those stats andgive extra damage to Chill damage will make it quite deadly. However, the builds listed above use different weapons, and YouTuber MxgicIQ states that he does not think that the weapons are as important, particularly for boss fights as you will be spending themajority of time on the boss’ shoulder.
