Futurama Season 12 Release Date Confirmed

The trailer forFuturamaseason 12 previews the new episodes arriving soon on Hulu, as the fate of Earth hangs in the balance. The long-running and resilient animated series, fromThe Simpsonscreator Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, returned for another round of episodes in July 2023, paying tribute to the show’s history while tweaking and expanding on it. The upcomingFuturamaseason 12, consisting of ten episodes, will continue down that path.
Huluhas revealed the trailer for theFuturamaseason 12ahead of the show’s return on July 29.
The trailer previews some of the hijinks ahead for the Planet Express crew. The trailer features plenty of past characters returning, including the Globetrotters. It makes theirfirst appearance since 2013.

According to the official synopsis of season 12, theFuturamacharacters will embark on mind-bending adventuresthat involve birthday party games to the death, visits from A.I. friends and enemies, some cute beanbags, and what’s promised as the 5-million-year-old history of the conscious-altering substance that’s known as coffee. Along with those developments, the upcoming episodes will also dig deeper into the characters, including more of theseries-defining Fry and Leela romance.
Likewise, there will be anexploration of Bender’s ancestral robot village. Following theFuturamaseason 11 ending, the fan-favorites cast will reprise their roles. This includes John DiMaggio as the robot Bender, BIlly West as Fry, Katey Sagal as Leela, Tress MacNeille as Mom, Maurice LaMarche as Kif Kroker, Lauren Tom as Amy Wong, Phil Lamar as Hermes Conrad, and David Herman as Scruffy.
