Summary

Travis Willingham: In fact, Eugene’s, speaking of making them cry, going to pull some of the hardest punches in season three. No spoilers. But yeah, he’s got a knack for making the end of the episode hurt! In a beautiful way.
Sung Jin Ahn: Yeah. I dunno if you guys remember in season two, the Vex death episode? He directed that episode and personally that sequence too.
Travis Willingham: If I can just harp on that for a second, that’s the beauty. The end of the episode was not written that way. That was a pitch that came from Eugene as the episodic director, and it totally improved the ending of it, which when that happens. Well, that’s the thing. We take all ideas, all the pitches, all that stuff.Young Heller’s also great about pitching stuff on episodes too. Man, that whole ending just rocked everybody. How The Third Season Of The Legend Of Vox Machina Can Set Up Even More Emotional Devastation
The Chroma Conclave has proven to be an extremely dangerous threat, killing countless people as they wipe out entire cities. However,Vox Machina managed tonot only escape with their lives, but has killed two of the five dragons. While Vex’s death was heartbreaking, she was ultimately saved by her brother trading his soul for hers. With Willingham promising even more emotional moments that could knock fans on their behind, it stands to reason that the heroes may be in trouble.

The Legend of Vox Machina season 2 had a surprising twist that has left some burning questions that season 3 of the show needs to answer.
This could mean that one or more ofthe members of Vox Machinacould fall in their fight against the dragons or that Vax’s deal with the Matron of Ravens could have unforeseen consequences that take him away from his sister. There are also questions surrounding Scanlan and his daughter, who wants nothing to do with him. However, it could also be tied to mysteries surrounding the individual who helped Thordak escape wiping out the Fire Ashari or Vex’s strange connection to the dragons.
