Trigun Stargaze May Expand on the Original Story

Adventures of the $$60,000,000,000.00 Man

Vash the Stampede is left a broken, wanted man, held responsible for the accident claiming the lives of 90% of JuLai City’s population, setting up the sequel at the end ofTrigun Stampede. Vash is despondent and unrecognizable following the incident. Given how the recent anime proceeded, it’s not unreasonable to expectTrigun Stargazeto offer a similarly expansive look atTriguncanon while offering its own stories. However, the post-credits scene of episode #12 shows details about Project Pieces of Earth entering Phase Two,with Special Ops Lieutenant Colonel Independent Chronica identifying a signal from Project SEEDS.

This is in reference to the preservation project of humanity’s remaining members after leaving Earth after its resources are depleted.Trigun Stampede’sfinal episode and ending title card showing #0, “High Noon at July,” indicate a connection to the first chapters of the original manga. It’s difficult to say precisely everything thatTrigun Stargazewill cover. Still, the post-credits scene, namely Chronica, the brief glimpse at Planet Gunsmoke, or Noman’s Land, and Vash’s canonical updated 60bn double dollar bounty will factor in. However, Chronica’s stake inTrigun Stargazeis likely to include elements from the sequel mangaTrigun Maximum.

Cast

Based on the original work by Yasuhiro Nightow, Trigun Stampede is a new imagining of the classic Trigun anime/manga series now being done by Studio Orange. Set on a planet called “No Man’s Land,” Humanity struggles to survive in an American wasteland-styled world with harsh conditions and even harsher people. One man, Vash the Stampede, A.K.A. the Human Typhoon, brings accidental ruin wherever he goes due to the massive bounty on his head. What people learn, however, is that this so-called dangerous man is an exceptionally skilled gunfighter who refuses to take lives. In Stampede, Vash travels the land searching for his violent twin brother, Millions Knives.
