Speaking exclusively to Screen Rant forMayor of Kingstownseason 3, in which he plays warden Kareem More, Beach briefly switched gears to talk about his other big Paramount+ show, giving a status update onTulsa Kingseason 2 filming, while teasing what’s to come for Mark, as Tyson is drawn ever-deeper into Dwight’s criminal enterprises. Yeah, there’s quite a bit of that going on. We’re almost at the end of season two now filming it. So yeah, I’m back there as Mitch, oddly, as Mike’s brother Mitch. [Laughs] But Mitch on Tulsa King, his name is Mitch. And yeah, the battle between who Tyson is going to become is a big theme in season 2. So the battle between Dwight’s character and Mark’s character and his son Tyson being right in the middle and which way is he going to go and why? And based on the events that happened throughout the season, you start to see where Tyson starts to go and why. It’s pretty cool, yeah.
How Will The Conflict Between Dwight And Mark Play Out In Tulsa King Season 2
Tyson’s decision to go against his father’s wishes and become Dwight’s employee naturally brought him into conflict with Mark, the proverbial good man trying to do right by his family, while staying within the bounds of the law. Beach’s newTulsa Kingseason 2 tease suggests that Tyson and Mark will only butt heads more, as Tyson continues taking the easy way out by following Dwight down the path of crime.
It seems that Mark and Dwight are destined to come into direct conflict somewhere down the road onTulsa King, as Mark perhaps tries to steer Tyson back onto the course of right. Given the old school way Dwight goes about his business, it’s unlikely that he would engage in violence against Tyson’s father, but the same can’t be assumed about Mark, who could resort to desperate measures to keep his son from destroying his future while in the employ ofStallone’s mob boss.
Tulsa Kingseason 2 will see Stallone’s Dwight defending himself in court, and also brings in a pair of new adversaries played by Frank Grillo and Neal McDonough
Tulsa Kingseason 2 is sure to wring drama out of the conflict being set up involving Dwight, his loyal lieutenant, Tyson, and Tyson’s increasingly concerned father, Mark. Drama isTaylor Sheridan’s brand, andTulsa Kingis a further example of his expertise in setting characters against one another, and watching as the sparks fly. Stallone and Beach will likely get to square off in some capacity during the course of season 2, leading to acting fireworks from a pair of veteran performers.
